We are looking for a Team Leader – Accounting Implementation Consultant in Odoo ERP, who will coordinate the development of accounting localization for Romania and manage implementation projects.

Overview of the Odoo Accounting Module

The Odoo accounting module is an integrated, flexible, and easy-to-use solution that enables companies to efficiently manage all accounting and financial operations.

It offers advanced functionalities such as:

  • Automatic transaction recording – Invoices, payments, receipts, and automated bank reconciliation.
  • Customizable chart of accounts – Adaptable to the specific accounting requirements of each country.
  • Detailed financial reports – Balance sheet, Profit and Loss statement, Cash Flow, VAT register, etc.
  • Bank integration – Import and automatic reconciliation of bank statements.
  • VAT management – Generation and reporting of VAT in compliance with local legislation.
  • Automation and AI – Intelligent document processing and reconciliation suggestions.
  • Multi-company and multi-currency – Centralized management of multiple business entities.

Responsibilities:

  • Team Coordination: Lead a team of consultants and developers involved in the implementation of the Odoo accounting module.
  • Accounting Localization Development: Define and implement features specific to compliance with Romanian legislation.
  • Business Analysis & Design: Identify business requirements and develop functional specifications.
  • Technical Collaboration: Work closely with developers to configure and adapt the accounting module.
  • Implementation & Training: Provide user training and support financial teams in adopting the solution.
  • Waterfall Methodology: Oversee implementation in well-defined phases (analysis, design, development, testing, launch, maintenance).
  • Compliance & Audit: Ensure adherence to tax regulations and Romanian accounting standards.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure project success.

Requirements:

  • Experience in implementing ERP solutions, particularly in the accounting area.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting and taxation in Romania.
  • Experience in team management and coordinating software projects.
  • Familiarity with methodologies and best practices in implementation.
  • Skills in analyzing and defining functional requirements for accounting localization.
  • Basic technical knowledge to collaborate effectively with developers.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to manage client relationships.
