We are seeking a Key User in Accountancy for one of our business partners. This role will
provide local expertise and support the deployment of the new ERP system in the dedicated
area.
This position requires frequent travel abroad (up to 60% of the time) for workshops.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary expert in the Accountancy domain.
- Identify, explain, and document gaps between the new ERP and existing local processes.
- Define local requirements and ensure clear communication of all local specifics to the central team, including solution identification and implementation.
- Identify and report existing and potential risks to the Implementation Lead.
- Assist in preparing and collecting data for the new system and support data migration.
- Test the solution within the assigned work area and help resolve identified issues.
- Support the identification of training needs.
- Act as a trainer, facilitating the knowledge transfer of new processes and system management to end users in the designated area.
- Provide post-go-live support to stabilize local processes and systems.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for both local and central/CEE organizations within the assigned area.
- Prepare accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accurate and timely entries.
- Ensure the integrity of the general ledger, reviewing and reconciling accounts, and making necessary adjustments.
- Perform and review reconciliations of key accounts, such as bank, intercompany, and other balance sheet accounts.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and local regulations.
- Assist in preparing and filing tax returns (income tax, VAT, and other applicable taxes).
- Oversee the accounting for fixed assets, including capitalization, depreciation, and disposals.
Required Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:
- At least 5-6 years of experience in Accountancy.
- Experience with ERP systems
- Previous involvement in ERP implementation/migration
- Ability to learn and explain complex issues clearly and comprehensively.
- Responsible and proactive mindset.
- Entrepreneurial approach and a collaborative attitude.
- Proficient in English (business level).
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
