For one of our clients we re searching for a
National Modern Trade Manager
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategically develop and manage brand presence in the Romanian market.
- Align strategies with internal departments through meetings for planning, forecasting, evaluating past initiatives, and planning follow-ups.
- Ensure qualitative and quantitative brand presentation in stores (Modern Trade) within the assigned territory, determining appropriate promotion types and quantities (e.g., promo packages, distribution packages, discounts, volume deals, combo deals).
- Negotiate annual terms and conditions with chains in the Modern Trade channel.
- Lead and manage the team to enhance overall departmental performance, inspiring and developing team members.
- Develop the company's Non-Food brands into international key accounts by negotiating promotions, pricing, product listings, and marketing plans.
- Build, maintain, and develop partner relationships with assigned clients.
- Participate in planning and implementing promotional campaigns targeting clients and consumers as directed by superiors.
Required Skills:
- Extensive experience in a similar role (Experience in the FMCG sector or entrepreneurial background is a plus).
- University degree in Economics or Marketing is advantageous.
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to draw result-oriented conclusions.
- Strategic thinking ability.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
- Valid driving license.
