Overview:
- Our client, a big automotive supplier, is looking foa e new colleague to coordinate the HSE local Department.
- The role comes with great responsibility and also benefits.
- It is an onsite job, within the Bucharest plant.
- The Health & Safety Manager reports to the Plant Manager and to the HSE Regional Manager (both in Romania).
Responsibilities:
- Manage the HS&E and facility management
- Represent the plant in all HS&E activitie
- Develop, manage and maintain a list of applicable legislation/standard/Corporate of business
- Manage the legal fulfillment of all HS&E topics and requirements
- Performs the activities of the energy team leader in accordance with STN EN ISO 50 001
- Establish, manage and maintain HS&E system compliant standard ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001 and policies
- Responsible for efficient environmental management at plant level
- Responsible for HSE department team members
- Manages the development of his/her team members through the HPD and MRR process and identify appropriate trainings in accordance with HR department
- Provides support to his/her team members by coaching activities
- Manage HSE departmental budget to ensure that all costs are correctly planned
- Develop and maintain strategic Emergency plan, contact person defined as a site contact for communication and resolution of work-related accidents and occupational diseases in relation to external parties
- Owner of the key HSE metrics implementation, monitoring, reporting (plant and corporate).
- Drive improvement activities to achieve goals and minimize plant exposure (continuous improvement approach).
- Define, develop and implement formal educational campaigns & initiatives
Requirements:
- Technical university degree
- 5+ years in automotive industry or related experience (plant/manufacturing)
- Min 3 years in similar position (coordinating a HSE team)
- Certified internal auditor (ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001)
