For one of our clients we re searching for a

National Modern Trade Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategically develop and manage brand presence in the Romanian market.
  • Align strategies with internal departments through meetings for planning, forecasting, evaluating past initiatives, and planning follow-ups.
  • Ensure qualitative and quantitative brand presentation in stores (Modern Trade) within the assigned territory, determining appropriate promotion types and quantities (e.g., promo packages, distribution packages, discounts, volume deals, combo deals).
  • Negotiate annual terms and conditions with chains in the Modern Trade channel.
  • Lead and manage the team to enhance overall departmental performance, inspiring and developing team members.
  • Develop the company's Non-Food brands into international key accounts by negotiating promotions, pricing, product listings, and marketing plans.
  • Build, maintain, and develop partner relationships with assigned clients.
  • Participate in planning and implementing promotional campaigns targeting clients and consumers as directed by superiors.

Required Skills:

  • Extensive experience in a similar role (Experience in the FMCG sector or entrepreneurial background is a plus).
  • University degree in Economics or Marketing is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to draw result-oriented conclusions.
  • Strategic thinking ability.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
  • Valid driving license.
