Reporting to the Product Manager in Romania, the Technical Business Analyst (TBA), will be responsible for owning the overall design of assigned technical data products.

The role requires strategic design and mapping of business requirements and solutions to system/technical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Writing technical specifications based on interactions directly with the customer and/or internal SMEs.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document business requirements.
• Gathers business requirements and translates them into technical requirements and creates detailed documents.
• Work closely with development teams to ensure that technical solutions align with business objectives and requirements.
• Facilitate communication between business stakeholders and technical teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Can effectively facilitate meetings, demonstrate brainstorming / consensus building skills, and interact with executive level stakeholders.
• Assist in the development of project plans, timelines, and deliverables.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in business analysis and technology.

Requirements

• Prior experience as a Business Analyst or Technical Business Analyst (5+ years) in the IT industry
• Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong documentation skills
• Experienced in creating detailed reports and delivering presentations
• Strong understanding of project management practices and of the Agile framework (SCRUM & Kanban)
• Good technical communicator
• Ability to work independentlyTechnical Skills
• Strong MS Excel and MS Word proficiency
• Proven experience with MS Visio or another similar tool
• Proven knowledge of business process modelling
• Basic knowledge of SQL database querying
• Strong knowledge of business analysis best practices (estimations, modelling – business cases, use cases and processes, issue tracking, SWOT analysis, interviewing)
• Basic knowledge of data modelling
• Proven experience of working within data warehouse projects
• Basic knowledge of PowerBI / Tableau or other data visualization tool (PowerBI preferred)
