For one of our clients, a rapidly expanding construction and engineering company entering the Romanian market, we are looking for a Senior HR Generalist to join their team! This role is critical in supporting the company’s growth by leading recruitment efforts for skilled and unskilled workers, administrative staff, and engineers who will work on projects both in Romania and other European countries.

Main Responsibilities:

• Lead full-cycle recruitment for skilled and unskilled construction workers, as well as administrative and engineering roles for projects in Romania and across Europe.
• Coordinate the hiring process for all employees, ensuring a smooth and efficient recruitment experience.
• Develop recruitment strategies and build a pipeline of talent for ongoing and future projects.
• Oversee HR operations, including employee records, contracts, and payroll, ensuring compliance with Romanian labor laws.
• Manage employee relations and foster a positive work environment.
• Oversee paperwork and visas for employees working in other European countries.
• Support the implementation of health and safety policies and ensure proper onboarding of new hires.

The ideal candidate:

• Proven experience in HR, specifically in recruiting for the construction industry (skilled/unskilled labor, administrative, and engineering staff).
• Advanced English language skills, both written and spoken.
• Strong knowledge of Romanian labor laws.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
