The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the Sales teams' operations and plans. By researching market trends and conducting competitor analysis, you will develop and implement sales strategies.
The company is specialized in the production of corrugated cardboard packaging, executed at a high quality level using mainly recycled paper.
Goals:
- Develops and implements business policies to increase company profits.
- Organizes, coordinates and optimizes sales functions, design and product development, and product promotion of the company.
- Builds and maintains a high performance sales team to achieve business objectives .
You'll report to the General Manager and will coordinate a team of 5 Managers.
The role involves working from the office 2 days per week.
Responsibilities:
- Analyses and decides on bids, contracts, and orders in accordance with internal procedures, agreed legal aspects and agreed workflow.
- Manages the budget of the Sales department.
- Analyze and decide on the proposals of the heads of departments Construction and Design and Customer Relations, in order to obtain the best results and achieve the targets.
- Develop and implement sales strategies and plans.
- Establishes and adjusts sales prices based on internal costs and market evolution.
- Prepare operational and financial sales department reports, forecasts.
- Performs the assessment of the economic ROI report together with the Financial Director.
- Oversee the management, learning, and career development of the sales team.
- Provides leadership to the subordinate staff by inspiration and communication of the company’s vision and by active coaching.
- Develops the team in the direction of the company's business strategy and vision and in accordance with the identified motivational elements of the team’s members.
- Sets up performance objectives for the subordinate staff, communicates them and tracks their fulfilment (KPI definition and monitoring).
- Develops Customer Portfolio by identifying strategic partners.
- Keeps strong contact to the market and meets with the customers on a regular basis.
- Keeps strong contact to the sales representatives in order to achieve a better understanding of customers’ needs, objectives and solvability.
- Analyses potential clients from the point of view of solvency, specific procedures, quality standards and organizational culture as well as the agreed relationship.
- Develops and implements the company's product marketing strategy.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of sales leadership experience.
- 5+ years of experience in sales in a multinational production company, preferably FMCG Industry.
- English Language – advanced.
- Advanced computer skills (MS Office).
- Ability to solve complex processes.
- Customers relations abilities, client and performance oriented.
- Market analysis and elaboration of commercial strategy.
- Excellent listener and negotiator.
- Self-organized, used to work on agenda (prioritizing tasks, setting clear objectives, keeping track records of the projects / tasks, follow up deviations from plans).
- Initiative with a result oriented approach.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Team work and task coordination skills.
- Strong commitment to transparency and a code of ethical conduct.
