We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist with Polish to join our client’s finance team in Bucharest. In this role, you will be responsible for processing invoices, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders. The position offers a hybrid work model, requiring three days per week in the office.

Key Responsibilities:

Process invoices and ensure accurate coding and approval flow in accordance with company policies.

Match invoices with purchase orders and verify discrepancies.

Manage payment runs and ensure timely settlements to vendors.

Reconcile supplier statements and resolve payment issues.

Maintain accurate records of all transactions in the accounting system.

Communicate with vendors and internal teams in Polish and English regarding payment inquiries.

Assist in month-end closing activities and financial reporting related to Accounts Payable.

Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and company policies.

Support process improvements and automation initiatives within the AP  department.

Requirements:

Fluency in Polish and English (written and spoken).

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.

Previous experience in Accounts Payable, Finance, or a similar role at least one year.

Knowledge of accounting principles and invoice processing.

Proficiency in SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems is an advantage.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Team player with strong communication skills.
