For one of our clients, a leading global supplier of industrial connectivity technology, for 3 lifelines: Data, Signal, and Power, we are currently looking for a Financial Consolidation Expert to join their Finance Team from Sibiu.

Main responsibilities:

• Perform the consolidation of financial data from various subsidiaries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards;
• Ensure timely preparation of consolidated financial reports;
• Maintain the integrity of financial data through thorough reconciliation and analysis;
• Contribute to improving the efficiency of the consolidation process.
• Gather financial data from different subsidiaries and business units for consolidation;
• Prepare consolidated financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements;
• Perform reconciliations of intercompany accounts and transactions;
• Compliance with Accounting Standards: Ensure all consolidated reporting complies with Group GAAP;
• Analyze variances in consolidated reports and provide explanations for significant discrepancies;
• Assist in providing data and reports during internal and external audits;
• Work closely with finance teams in subsidiaries to ensure accurate and consistent financial reporting;
• Efficiently use financial consolidation software to process and report financial data.

Requirements:

• University degree in Economics, Finance or Accounting;
• 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a multinational company;
• Relevant experience in the Financial Consolidation area;
• Advanced Microsoft Office knowledge (especially Excel);
• Safe handling of accounting processes in SAP FI/ SAP Consolidation Systems;
• An advanced level of English is required and knowledge of the German language would be an advantage;
• High communication skills and strong team spirit;
• Willingness to work in an international environment.
