For our client, a worldwide known producer of industrial minerals, pigments derived from calcium carbonate and dolomite, and distributor of specialty polymer-based products we are looking for an Engineered Materials Sales Manager.

As the Engineered Materials Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing strong customer relationships in the engineering materials sector, and providing technical support to the sales teams in East Europe.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy Development: Create and implement strategic sales plans to increase market share and meet revenue goals.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, understand their needs, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify growth opportunities, assess the competitive landscape, and develop effective sales strategies in different East European Markets.
  • Market Expansion: Identify and evaluate opportunities to expand market presence in multicultural territories, including new customer segments, geographic regions, and industry verticals with Bulgaria as a main focus.
  • Product Knowledge: Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and technological advancements in engineering materials (polymers-based products) to effectively promote and sell company products.
  • Sales Forecasting and Reporting: Prepare sales forecasts, track sales performance, and generate regular management reports, highlighting achievements, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with internal teams such as marketing, product development, and customer service to support sales efforts, address customer requirements, and optimize business processes.
  • Budget Management: Manage sales budgets, expenses, and resources effectively.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards in all sales activities.

The ideal candidate:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sales management, preferably in the engineering materials or manufacturing industry.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills across multiple cultures and languages. Advanced proficiency in English is required.
  • Results-oriented mindset with the ability to drive initiatives from concept to execution.
  • Analytical skills to interpret sales data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Knowledge of CRM software, sales analytics tools, and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Ability to travel as needed, with more than 60% of the time spent meeting with customers.
