For one of our clients, an international automotive manufacturing company, we are looking for a new colleague to be part of the cross-country team, as
Application Specialist/Manager
for the Atlassian suite.
The job requires 3 days of office work and 2 of wfh/week.
Labor Contract collaboration.
Responsibilities
For Atlassian Jira and Confluence, Gitlab, Antifactory and other engineering-related IT tools
- *Responsible for secure and stable operation
- Monitoring backend interfaces and connections to systems like IAM (identity and access management), links between Jira and Confluence, link to source code management systems as GitLab and Azure DevOps
- Monitoring of operation status of atlassian.net, create tickets to Atlassian if required
- Make sure that users only see the projects and spaces they are allowed to
- Contact external partners (Atlassian, VSHN, Eficode) in case of service disruptions or degradation
- *1st and 2nd level user support
- Resolve IT tickets in time
- Answer basic user questions on how to log in, create tickets, create documents, move documents, etc.
- Clarify issues, call users on Teams to make sure everything is working as expected if necessary
- *User account management
- Approve new users according to approval policies
- Assign new users to groups
- Make sure that user names adhere to guidelines
- Unassign users that left the company. Automate this process with internal partners in global IT.
- *User documentation and trainings
- Create and update documentation on how to work with Jira and Confluence
- Document the most common problems in IT ticket knowledge base
- Train new users in small groups via Teams
- *Setup and maintenance of Sandbox environments
- Set-up sandboxes for both Jira and Confluence to allow tests of new workflows and apps
- Assign user-rights to test users
- Document outcomes for steering group
- *Providing workflows and templates according to business needs
- Participate and later organize regular meetings with key-users from business
- Harmonize workflows where possible
- Collect inputs from business and make sure the backlog is prioritized. Resolve backlog issues with support of internal and external partners.
- *Data cleansing / data migration tasks
- Elaborate naming conventions with business stakeholders
- Enforcing conventions, correct names that do not match the conventions in close collaboration with space and project owners
- Archive unused and old pages after confirmation with space/project owners
- Support business and external partners with data migrations from other Jira/Confluence and GitLab instances
- *Evaluation of new features and Apps
- Watch updates from Atlassian and identify opportunities for the group
- Provide guidelines how to work with Apps and features
- Support key-users with tests of new Jira/Confluence Apps
- *Getting support from external partners if required
- Create tickets to Atlassian and/or Eficode when needed, watch tickets, test resolved issues
- Organize trainings with external partners if required
- *Status reports to Global IT Engineering departments
- Participate online in regular IT Engineering department meetings
- Provide updates on KPIs, status, problems, backlogs, etc.
- Escalate issues that cannot be resolved without support from management
Requirements

- Bachelor IT

- Atlassian administration
- Source code management with Git
- Basic programming skills
