For our client, a private-owned bearings factory, located 90km from Bucharest, we are are seeking a talented and experienced professional to join their dynamic team, as an Administration Manager.
They are a global leader in engineering and manufacturing automotive systems, bearing solutions, and high-performance machine tools, supplying customers from Europe, Asia and North America, with more than 90% of the production going abroad.
You will be responsible for overseeing and managing general administrative activities to ensure these are effective in supporting the production operations with the aim of continuity of the business. This position should ensure the creation of a well-organized and efficient work environment, facilitating the climate of safety and discipline, ensuring compliance with the legislation and internal rules and regulations, effective risk management, implementation of CSR system, ensuring implementation of efficient management foundation (organization and corporate structure, meetings structure, KPI management).
Main responsibilities:
- Participates at the General Meetings of Shareholders, when needed, and answers to the questions of shareholders related to General Administration activities.
- Monitors the actions taken by direct subordinates as a result of decisions taken earlier and approves action plans for cases which require additional measures; asks for reasons of not completing the action plans and ensure alternative measures are taken;
- Plans, organizes and controls the activities of the Administration Department
- Participates in reporting meetings, in which each director or manager presents the current achievements of the department in relation to the company's objectives, with the aim of cross-checking the stage of achievement of the objectives in relation to the budget;
- Approves the requests for the items of the building and road repair program (investment fund & expenditure fund), according to the limits established in line withcompany rules;
- Responsible for qualitative execution of the works;
- Periodically evaluates the activity of subordinated Managers/Deputy managers;
- Organizes and monitors the activity of subordinate employees;
- Ensures the elaboration of security plans according to internal Group rules, monitors that security systems work in reality, implement regular internal controls of the security systems and their application by all company’s employees;
- Responsible for managing and overseeing the risk management framework by identifying and assessing risks and threats of the organization, including financial, operational, strategic, compliance, reputational risks, and other risks;
- Coordinates the development of the organization's CSR strategy, policies and ethical code taking into account current legislation, fundamental human rights, generally accepted moral values and norms, international CSR standards and CSR best practices, the organization's mission, values and CSR objectives, objectives and development strategy of the organization.
